TERMS & CONDITIONS

Reading Connections is an Australian Business (ABN 77547683372) with a Head Office in Melbourne, Australia. This agreement outlines the terms and conditions for the services provided to you by Reading Connections.

TUITION

All Reading Connections staff have both Working With Children checks and Police Checks. We employ only high-quality tutors. We accept no liability for any grievances that arise through a tuition session, however any concerns must be brought to the attention of tutor.

All lessons will be tailored to suit the needs of individual students, following their initial assessments. Due to the diverse nature of literacy intervention all sessions will be individual, allowing for the maximum benefit for each child.

Clients must provide a suitable place in their home for tutoring sessions, including a table and two chairs with ample light.

Parents/guardians must agree to support and encourage the student’s progress at home by facilitating literacy activities throughout the week as discussed with your tutor.

Commitment for tuition is required for each school term by the beginning of the term.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made on a term-by-term, monthly or weekly basis, as agreed with Reading Connections. This will occur once invoices have been sent from Reading Connections.

If payment is made for the whole term, this must be completed by the end of the first week of said term. If payment is made monthly, each instalment must be paid in full by the seventh of said month.

Depending on the program that has been tailored for your child, there may be additional resources required for their learning. Costs will be kept to a minimum by Reading Connections, who will source the materials required. Payment for these resources will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian. These charges must be paid for upon receipt.

MISSED SESSIONS

We understand that sometimes lesson times can become difficult with the occasional one-off changes of family life. If a lesson time has to be cancelled, at least one week’s notice is required to book in a catch-up session.

Any lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full lesson fee*

No refunds will be issued for a missed session, however every effort will be made to find a catch-up time*

CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to change these terms at any time and the website will display current terms and conditions. Please familiarise yourself with these terms.

*This may be negotiable due to extenuating circumstances, however these must be communicated with Reading Connections as soon as possible.
